London: Novello, Ewer & Co., 1882. 5 5/8" x 9 1/8", Vol. 2 = 478 pages, Vol. 3 = 443 pages plus an appendix of 4 "facsimiles" (a letter, and 3 samples of composition, as described on unnumbered page following page 443. No dust jackets, ex-reference library, missing volume I. Definitive biography of Mozart. Overall condition = Good. Rough cut quarter pages, most of those in Volume III being unseparated (and therefore unread), while quarter pages opened by hand in Volume II, making for exceedingly rough top edges, reverse covers and first and last fep's have floral designs. One of facsimile pages separated and laid in. Cover (brown cloth boards with debossed frame front and back, gold gilt particulars front and spine) = tight, light foxing, somewhat faded, corners bumped.
