Bump to lower right corner, else Very Good condition. United Features Syndicate. Some foxing to endpaper. Gustave Dore illustrations. 2nd volume is the 1934 Simon and Schuster First Trade Edition. Bookplate on endpaper, else Very Good Plus condition. Dust Jacket has some chipping, else Very Good. ; 4to 11" - 13" tall .
Synopsis
The Life of Our Lord: Written for His Children During the Years 1846 to 1849 by Charles Dickens was actually not intended to be a published work, and is simply a father explaining the life of Christ to his children, in his own words.
