Boston: Hilliard, Gray and Co., 1841. Hardcover. Good +. 4 1/2 x 7 in. Vol. 1 - xiii, 260 pp. Vol. 2 - ix, 308 pp. Original publisher's mauve cloth boards with gilt spine titles. Condition is GOOD+ ; Mild shelf wear but spine ends are torn with loss and fraying, espially the heads. Covers clean, Vol. has raised wrinkled area to the front. Spines are sunned. Bindings are both tight but the front inner hinge of Vol. is starting. Text unmarked, lightly foxed. PO's bookplate on front pastedowns. Bio. Stax.
