New York: Lane & Tippett, 1846. Fair to good copy. In paper covered boards with musical notes on front cover and black leather spine with name of Whitefled in gilt. Square and intact binding. No writng exvept for previous owner's name on front pastedown. Hole on upper front board.paper. Foxing throughout not affecting legibility. Heavy wear to covers. Gerorge Whitefield was one of the founders of Methodism. He founded an orphanage in Georgia and had slaves but did not like the treatment of slaves. He was a friend of Benjamin Franklin. who thought of him as quite an orator. Photos upon request. . Hardcover. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.
