H.G. Bohn, 1854. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1854. Fifth Edition. 545 pages. Fully bound in leather. Gilded text block edges. Noticeable twisting to text block. Light foxing and tanning to pages. More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers, as well as title pages. Pen inscription to front free endpaper. Light cracking to gutters and hinges but binding remains firm. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with noticeable warping, tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has heavier tanning with visible splitting, fraying and crushing to ends. Book has a slight forward lean.
