London: John Murray. Good+. 1839. Revised Edition. 3/4 leather. Engravings; 12mo 7" - 7½" tall; A New Edition. Complete in ten volumes, uniformly bound in 3/4 grained calf and marbled paper boards with gilt work and titles tooled to spines. "Upwards of 50 engravings" some on doubled leaves. All edges marbled. Extra engraved title pages for each volume from the 1835 edition. Frontis engravings present for all volumes along with half-title pages for all but Vol III. Some dryness to leather at spines with mild stress crazing. Boards tenuous or detached in Vols I, II and X. Mild foxing to front and rear endmatter, but text pages generally bright and clean with a few mild instances of a shallow damp stain to a small number of pages along the top edge.
