London: Wm Isbister Limited, 1890. Cloth. Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Whymper, E.. Green cloth binding, a few marks, generally fairly tidy looking. Hinges good- overpulled a bit in the middle. The text is tidy, light toning. With a fold out frontispiece and several illustrations in the text. Pages; IX, (3), 322, (2). 2nd edition. 1896 signature on the half title page of B.J. Richardson (with a facsimile of a typed 1912 letter from B.J. Richardson to Emmeline Pankhurst disapproving of her militant methods for the suffrage movement, but approving of her cause).
