Profusamente ilustrados com fotografias e gravuras, a preto e branco e a cores, no texto.
«L'Illustration» foi um jornal semanal publicado em Paris entre 1843 e 1944, tendo sido o primeiro jornal francês a publicar uma fotografia em 1891 e, em 1907, uma fotografia a cores. Constam neste volume os N.ºs 3494 a 3497. Está nestes reunida a peça Chantecler, em quatro atos, uma peça notável, escrita por Edmond Rostand, na qual todos os personagens são animais da quinta, incluindo o protagonista.
68? Année - N.º 3494. Samedi 12 Février 1910. Ce numéro, qui contient le Prologue et le Premier Acte de Chantecler, comprend 50 pages, dont 14 (Études pour Chantecler, en couleurs, et portrait de M. Founded in 1957, by Ezequiel Castro e Silva, LIVRARIA CASTRO E SILVA is a bibliographic commercial organization, well known in the antique book market and amongst the antiquarian booksellers, both in Portugal and abroad, for being one of the most distinguished Portuguese specialists in its area, dealing in books through several continents. Aiming to provide faster access to our catalogues, better stock information and improving communication with our clients, in 2003 we launched our website www.castroesilva.com, allowing all interested parts an easier access to registration and order of our catalogues. This webpage has a bibliographical database which seeks to replace the old file system, in itself an historical and probably unique tool, while allowing us the means to spread information about our books and contributing to the general bibliographical research.
