London: Macmillan and Company Ltd., 1st. Hardback. Very Good/Fair. First edition hardback, 1932, with unclipped jacket. In overall good-to-very good used condition in a fair dust jacket with minor signs of age, handling and storage - dust jacket rubbed to edges with several large chips to spine (now protected); red cloth boards a touch rubbed and faded to spine and edges. Internally clean. Binding tight and appears little read; no annotation or inscriptions; tanning to page-ends (gilt upper edge retains lustre) but text bright and clear throughout. Includes a Macmillan & Co. postcard for the request of a List of New Books. Not an old library book.
