Illustrator: Photographic. ist of illustrations, introduction by author, acknowledgements, notes, select bibliography and index. Black-and-white photographic frontispiece of Lionel Lindsay. The text is illustrated with both black-and-white photographs and illustrations. Black coloured boards with gilt coloured titles on the spine. Photographic dustwrapper ( wraparound ), showing both Lionel and Norman Lindsay, with small yellow insert with black coloured titles on the front panel and spine. A biography of Lionel Lindsey who was for most of his life overshadowed by his more famous brother Norman but was in himself one of Australia's premier artists. A little rubbing of the book corners and back strip corners with a hint of bumping to the book corners. Age toning and foxing to the text block edges with age toning to the pages and foxing to the first few and last few pages of the book. A small scribble mark to the top right hand corner of the free front end page. A little rubbing of the dustwrapper edges and panels and some foxing can be seen to the verso. Fading to the back strip.
