Early printing, very good blue cloth hardcover (no dust jacket) with gilt letter to spine shows mild dulling to gilt at spine, touch of soil to covers and mild shelf wear to same, light crease along spine and some other very minor wear, else tight and clean. 343 pages. Still a pleasing copy of these essays from the noted philosopher and advocate of socialism in the early days of the American movement.
