Education Division - US Office of Indian Affairs, 1940. Hardcover. Fair/No Jacket. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. Gerald Nailor. Orange cloth covered boards with moderate edgewear, rubbing, soil and scuffing. Bumped and lightly frayed spine ends and corners. Binding shaken and cracked in some places. Text in English and Navaho (Navajo). Interior toned, with light soil and creasing throughout. B/w illustrations. Ex-library with usual marks. This was an experimental textbook intended to teach children at the Phoenix Indian School to read and learn about "modern" life.
