Octavo hardback, Probable re-issue of a book apparently first printed in 1850 This edition estimated at 1860 Hardback in Green pictorial gilt cloth with elaborated design in gold red and black on front cover and spine All edges gilt iv + 154 pages plus 2 pages of publisher's adverts. Eight tissue-guarded colour plates (Frontispiece, title page and six other plates) by A.F. Lydon. Good condition. Original owner's name and house on inside cover.
