New York: Lovell, Coryell & Company, 1892. Original printed wrappers, soiled, cocked, though otherwise sound. A later issue of the first illustrated American edition, issued in Lovell's Illustrated Series as No. 6, January 1892. 328pp., In this copy the frontispiece is on the verso of a blank recto anf there are no ad pages at the back. The back cover lists titles in this monthly series through No. 12. See Cutler 28. Paper spine is intact, as are both covers. Spine is quite cocked, book block solid, with all pages firmly attached. A very scarce, fragile edition. Fair.. Early Printing. Original Wraps. Fair. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
