"What the Children Saw and Heard There". A very nice copy in the original light green cloth, with wolf and rabbit on the front cover, Title on the spine in dark brown, the spine slightly faded.Slight edge wear at the corners. Fine inside, very clean and tight with no age toning and a profusion of illustrations. Original light green cloth, with wolf and rabbit on the front cover. Dark brown title on the slightly faded spine. Edge wear at the corners is slight, none at the spine ends. All edges tinted green. Near fine inside, very clean and tight with no stains or age toning. The author's note says some of the stories he made up, some are Georgia olk tales probably from Englnd, and some , like his prior Uncle Remus tales, are black folk lore. .
