Pocket Books, 1954. #1000, 153 pages, heavily scruffed pictorial cover with black & blue ltrs, faded red printers ink on edges, scruffed silver binding, translated from the Italian by Una Vincenzo Troubridge, yellowing pages, pages are wrinkled from dampness, original price was 25 cents tight. Don Camillo was a harried but wise Italian priest whose wayward flock gave him plenty of trouble. The biggest trouble was Peppone, the town mayor and leader of the local Communists.. 1st Printing. Mass Market Paperback. Reading Copy.
