Northport, Long Island: Edward Thompson Co., 1894-1899. New and Revised Edition.. Five volumes. Red cloth, white cloth spines, designed and lettered in gilt. Top edges gilt, other edges cut. Color frontispieces and many plates in each volume. Scattered foxing to some early leaves, some spotting of cloth, inner hinges of Volume 5 cracked and some discoloration to the front cover of that volume; in general a clean and probably unread set in the original red cloth dust jackets, lettered and numbered on the spines. Originally published 1849-1857, this is a new and revised edition. This is a heavy multi-volume set which will incur additional postage costs.
