Six-volume set of the biographies of the Chief Justices of the British Empire by Lord Campbell. VOLUMES I-IV are REPRINTS; VOLUMES V & VI are FIRST EDITION. Over all, all six volumes have some minor edgewear, light bumped corners, light toning throughout the textblock and quarter-inch chipping across both the head and foot of the spine; spine is also lightly rubbed with gilt text dimmed; private library sticker on front pastedown endpaper. VOL 1 has a half-inch tear at the edge of the front free endpaer. VOL II has some rubbing on the edge of the spine. All six volumes are in protective, mylar dust jackets. Certainly a good six-volume set for the serious collector.. Reprint. Hardcover. Good+. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Hard Cover.
