Quarter deep red linen gilt with Italian block-printed paper-covered boards, DW, slipcase, large 8vo., xviii, 482, (3) pages, illustrated with medallion portraits and mounted color painting reproductions by Salvatore Fiume. The Philemon Holland translation, emended and with an introduction by Moses Hadas. One of 1,500 numbered copies planned by Giovanni Mardersteig and printed at the Stamperia Valdonega on mould-made Cartiere di Maslianico paper. Signed by the Printer and Artist. LEC broadside notice laid in. A fine copy in a near fine, unworn DW in archival mylar and the very good gold-edged cloth slipcase with spine label.
