Cassell & Company, 1942. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1942. Second Edition. 138 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth boards with gilt lettering. Black and white illustrated frontispiece. Clean pages with light tanning and foxing to text block edges. Binding is firm throughout with minor thumb-marking. Heavier tanning to free endpapers. Pencil markings to front free endpaper. Ink stamp inscription to title page. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Slight crushing and splits to spine ends and corners. Gilt lettering is darkened. Moderate sunning to spine and edges. Visible wear marks to boards.
