Comments: An unusual local history of the process on civilian internment carried on the Isle of Man during WWI and WWII. For WWI some 29,000 mainly German and Austrian men were held; in WWII tens of thousands were initially held but later accepted as genuine refugees from Nazi oppression.. Soft Cover. Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
