A clean very near fine copy in illustrated paper covered boards in a very near fine dust jacket with a tiny tear to the top of the rear panel and some very slight toning to the spine. A very nice copy. Toledano 67C.

Synopsis

From inside the book's front flap: "This book may well prove to be its author's most unpleasant ever." This tells the tale of a psycopathic couple whose "life's work" is to murder children. Gorey's Victorian Gothic satires are generally humorous, yet this one is exceedingly creepy and malevolent.
