Waverly Press, 1938. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1938. No Edition Remarks. 244 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth with black lettering. Contains black and white photographic plates, and a fold-out map in pocket to rear of book. Heavy liquid staining down spine. Pages are lightly tanned with moderate foxing to endpapers and text block edges. Pencil inscription to front free endpaper, with water drops and a few small nicks along text block edge. Moderate dog-eared corners. Cracking to gutters with exposed netting. Binding remains firm. Folding to rear page. Map is bright and clear with minimal signs of wear. Plates are bright and clear, with slight tanning to edges. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with notable bumping and fraying to corners, and rubbing to surfaces. Heavy tanning, sunning and liquid staining to spine and edges, with visible crushing to spine ends.
