New York: Bonanza Books. Very Good in Very Good- dust jacket. 1961. Hardcover. A summary of the railroads that were built to address the needs of loggers and mills in the Western U.S. With dozens of black & white photos depicting logging operations, locomotives, and several impressive but rather dodgy-looking trestles. Jacket with blue monochrome image of train pulling logs. --- A very nice copy: clean, bright and tightly bound but with slight soiling to cloth.
