Turquoise cloth boards with decorative gold and red lettering, top edge gilt. 241 pp. Turn-of-the-century London travelogue, illustrated with frontispiece and various photogravures/illustrations of famous sights in London such as Houses of Parliament, Fleet Street, St. Dunstan's Church, Sacred Close, Hyde Park, Rotten Row, The Strand, St. Paul's Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, Whitehall, Clock Tower, etc. Book shaken, light wear to extremities, fraying top of spine. Antique ex-library purchased directly from the historical collection of one of the USA's oldest libraries and bearing its hand-numbered and hand-dated bookplate. Good condition..
