London: B.T. Batsford, 1953. First edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. Profusely illustrated. A record of 2,500 cabinet-makers, upholsterers, carvers and gilders with their addresses and working dates illustrated by 165 reproductions of makers' trade-cards. Includes a chapter by R.W. Symonds, F.S.A. on the problem of identification of the furniture they produced illustrated by some hitherto unpublished examples of authenticated pieces. Minor bump to the spine. The dust jacket is moderately shelfworn, with some occasional mild soiling and a few tears; otherwise a very good copy.
