Sturdy, attractive, tightly bound, internally clean hardcover copy, with unbruised tips, neat and tidy paste-downs; not ex-library, with neither highlighting nor underlining. Bound in brick-red cloth, black lettering and ruled borders to cover, spine, with an illustration to front cover. Bumping to spine head and foot, sharp gilt lettering to spine. 56 black-and-white illustrations of London scenes by Joseph Pennell, arranged with an Introductory Essay by J.C. Squire. Fine tri-color illustration at frontis, each scene captioned. Quarto format, measuring 8 1/2" x 11 1/4" in size, binding is rubbed just a bit. [v] + 30 pp. Each plate preceded by caption, notes and title.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
