Half bound in brown calf leather over marbled boards. All edges sprayed blue. Tall 8vo. A large and heavy volume which will incur an additional charge for overseas delivery. Boards worn, heavily rubbed at edges, corners, joints and spine ends, rounded on corners, scuffed and marked with some marbled paper scarred away. Endpapers spotted, small doodle on front paste down, hinges obviously but effectively reinforced. Complete with all 12 plates as called for in the binders instructions. 1st edition 1790. Binding is slightly rubbed and worn, with small loss to head of spine. Some offsetting from 5 inserted news cuttings. Previous owner's bookplate to front free end-paper. A little occasional foxing to contents. A rather pleasing copy.
