A fine copy--bright and clean inside and out--in a very good dust jacket with sunning to spine, light staining to front panel, and slight rubbing at the corners. INSCRIBED BY BONTEMPTS in the year of publication to fellow poet Jean Burden: "For Jean Burden, who would understand any lonesome boy--with the best wishes of Arna Bontemps." Bontemps was a noted member of the Harlem Renaissance.
