"Long Before Forty, the autobiography of Forester's obscure first thirty-one years, was found in a safe deposit box after his death in 1966, and tells the story of how he survived his early struggles." Ships same or next business day. Bookplate of noted collector, Rolland Comstock, on paste-down endpaper. Book has some edge wear, small dent on bottom right corner of back board, small bumps on spine ends, light discoloration on edges of boards. Pages are lightly tanned but clean. Dust jacket protected in archival plastic cover. DJ has some edge wear, small chips on spine head and top corners, 1/3-inch tear on head edge of back cover, shelf wear on back cover. Tape on head edge of back cover and inside of jacket at stress points. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 254 pages .
