Horwitz, Sydney, 1965. Reprint. Softcover. Fair Condition/No Dust Jacket. Illustrated cover, showing small gunship, flying Japanese flags, with yellow, white and red coloured titles to the front panel and black and blue coloured titles to the spine. A small ship that has been batted to submission and was under tow decides to fight back. Set during WWII, Australian Navy against the Japanese Navy. Horwitz Press -- No. 40 of the J. E. Macdonnell Naval series. This book is showing age and use. Creasing to the book corners with reading creases to the back strip. Various black marker numbers to the front panel and back strip with previous owners dates (probably of dates read) to the top edge of the rear panel. Sunning of the book and remains of a sticker can be seen to the top edge of the front,'s back strip and rear panel. Browning and scattered foxing of the text block edges with browning of the pages. The front hinge has started to crack and previous owner has placed main character to the top edge of the verso of the front panel. Second Edition. Size: 12mo (standard paperback). 130 pages..
