Privately printed, 1948.. 1948.. Good. - Octavo, cream boards with a vignette of a camp in brown on the front cover, in a dust wrapper. The binding is lightly bumped & chipped with a small stain to the top corner of the front cover. The dust jacket is chipped with short tears and pieces out and its spine & extremities are darkened. There is some creasing to the top & bottom edges of the jacket & to the corners of its flaps. 56 & [2] pages. Numerous black-and-white illustrations. There is a previous owner's name & address on the front endpaper. There is a tear along the front hinge at the title page. Good. <p>First edition.<p>Together with Mrs. Harriet Christie, Lucy Elizabeth Jones ran a summer camp and Bible School which moved to various locations, finally finding a home in the Helderberg Mountains of New York State where it was named Camp Pinnacle.
