First printing, near fine oversized cloth hardcover shows light rubbing an dsoil at top edges of covers and some other very light trace wear, in near fien dust jacket that shows touch of rubbing and couple of tiny closed edge tears. 122 pages nicely illustrated. Still an attractive copy of this "..study of the nineteenth-century visual imagination" that contains "..numerous maps, drawings, sketches, lithographs, paintings, and photographs--more than hundred plates in all.
