London: The Folio Society, 1988. First Edition Thus. Hardcover. Near Fine/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾. N/a. 251pp. 1988. First edition thus in the Folio Society format. 8vo. sized. A lovely fresh, clean, tight, bright near fine copy in very good black slipcase. Upper edge dyed red as it should be. No inscriptions. Colour onlay of Lord Byron (in super condition) to the front board. Black stamped gilt title blocks to the spine. A slight bump to the left hand corner at the tail of the spine and a similar one to the right hand corner at the head of the spine. The slipcase is a lttle bumped to one corner and strips of fading to two edges of the rear panel. A lovely, fresh, clean, tight, bright near fine copy in very good slipcase.
