(viii), 923, (1) pp. Contemporary prize binding for Christ's Hospital school, full tree calf, the school crest in gilt on the upper board and a contemporary prize bookplate to the front pastedown, spine with raised bands, gilt lettered red label, gilt decoration to panels, endpapers and all edges marbled. Frontispiece portrait and 4 plates. A little light rubbing to the extremities, a handsome copy.
