First Edition. Slight bumping and very tiny paper chipping to outside edges. 5 x 7 inches, (135) pages. Original beige paper covered boards with brown lettering to spine, and drawing on cover. Fine condition inside. Clean, bright, crisp and tight. 13 illustrations from photographs by H. C. Pillsbury, and 8 vignette woodcut chapter headings. Contents include Indian: food, clothing, dwellings, industries, sweathouses, baskets, weapons, customs, religious beliefs, ceremonies, trade, dances, feasts, burials, medicine, history, white men influence, legends and more. Much on regional geology. . . .
