London: Architectural League of the Pacific Coast, 1912. First edition. Hardcover. Near Fine. Hardcover in original tan matte boards. Black cloth spine. First printing. Light wear to boards. Neat inked comment in margin on Foreword page, and decorative bookplate of one-time owner on front pastedown--otherwise unmarked and unmarred. (Bookplate says "Olive Percival--Her Book." Olive Percival was a writer, photographer, gardener, artist, and bibliophile in Los Angeles.) Published to accompany an exhibit of members' work held in Los Angeles (738 South Broadway) from February 23-March 15, 1912. Frontispiece is a tipped-in plate of an exterior view of the Greene and Greene Gamble House in Pasadena (two additional photos of the house follow in photo section). Book includes 24 pages of text plus 108 pages of photos of residental and pubic buildings. Front matter includes a list of patrons with tipped in addenda sheet, list of club members with tipped in addenda sheet, a list of associate members and a list of exhibitors. 4to. Scarce.
