New York: E. B. Treat. Original brown cloth. Ink notation of previous owner: "Nathan L. Robinson Book Bought Jun 25 1867." Underneath that in pencil is "Price $5." At some point, ex-library but only indication 4 white numerals on spine, a circulation slip inside the front cover, four ink numerals at the foot of the title page, and a cardholder inside the back cover. Two-inch tear along one spine edge, wear with some loss at head and foot of spine, covers nice but tender, some foxing mostly on endpapers, otherwise internals very nice, Good. Important book in the history of the United States. . Good. Hardcover. 1867.
