About This Item

Hardcover. Good. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. 281pp. Contains two novellas, Banana Tourist and Blind Path (neither are Maigret stories). 12mo. The text block of this volume is, I suspect, from the 1960 Penguin paperback edition as the page numbering matches). This particular volume has however been privately rebound (minus the paperback covers and prelim pages etc) in half-leather over blue mottled leatherette(?). Four raised bands and gilt titles to spine. Decorative endpapers and stippled upper edge. Boards a little rubbed, especially around spine where the leather is a little chipped and worn at joints. There's a small bruise on the paper on the half-title page (probably resulting from a label being removed). Pages trimmed and tanned throughout. Still an attractive volume and likely a unique curiosity.
