Lutterworth Press, London, 1969 VG no dj . 1 neat inscription to ffep. no other marks or writing. one corners bumped and rounded - but no loss. there is a dark mark/ink stain to end of textblock on the bottom - but nothing internally.an attractive copy. The author locates the lost villages of England and describes the occasion of their depopulation and the character of those who destroyed them. there is a long gazetteer giving as full a list as possible, arranged by counties. The book is illustrated with 16 b/w plates, mostly aerial photos, and with line drawings and distribution maps, including a fold out sheet
