New York: Harcourt, Brace and Company, 1942. First Edition. Hardcover. Good/Good. With the collaboration of Jeanetta Lyle Menninger. Presentation Copy. Inscribed by Menninger on the front endpaper to "[his] boss." Good in a Good jacket, unclipped ($3.75), faded at the spine, generally rubbed and worn, some chips and short tears. Black cloth, faded at the spine, stained at the boards, with white ink lettering on the spine. Square, bound with some reading wear. Menninger's pop-psychology book about how people can utilize "the love instinct" to improve their lives.
