With book cover designer Margaret Armstrong's initals incorporated into the design on the top cover. Black and white illustrations by W. T. Smedley, Orson Lowell, and Andre Castaigne.(Thirteen illustrations including frontispiece. ) xii + 217 pages, top edge gilt, side and bottom edges untrimmed. Spine a bit sunned, and a small gouge on rear cover. Foxing on one page. Near very good. Title story is in dialect.
