First edition signed by author, 8vo., pp.(xi),380, blue cloth, gilt; small, pictorial bookplate dated 1939 with neat ownership inscription to front free end-paper, signed by author with a biographical notice to half title verso, sunning to lower edges of boards, light foxing to fore edge,, a very good copy with an unclipped dust-jacket which has small closed tears, light creasing and light chipping to edges, light surface soil, otherwise very good. Now in a protective cover.
