When Steve's dad's plan goes missing in South America, Steve has to run the family farm. He still finds time to train his beloved Irish Setter Lady with a view toward making her a champion sow dog. Then a mysterious figure, Angus Acorn, drops by to leave his setter Rex with Steve, and soon Steve is running a boarding kennel. Angus proves himself a friend in need many times..
