Paris: Plain Editions, 1930. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good. Louis Untermeyer's copy with his bookplate on the front endpaper.About Very Good in a Fair example of the plain paper wrapper, split into three parts, covered in what appears to be the original glassine. Blue boards, rubbed and bumped at the edges and corners, black ink lettering on the spine and front board. Square, hinges loose, text block slightly shaken. The first of Stein's Plain Edition books which sought to publisher her previously unpublished works.
