About This Item
Oxford: Basil Blackwell, 1967. First UK edition.. Hardcover. Very Good. Octavo, red cloth, pp. 265, Shorthand notes recorded by Waismann. From the jacket flap: Wittgenstein met Moritz Schlick in 1926 or 1927, and their close association was the chief means by which Wittgentein exercised an influence on the Vienna Circle. Freidrich Waismann took part in most of the meetings between the two and came to be regarded in the early thirties as the authorized mouthpiece of Wittgenstein in Vienna". Text in German. UK edition, with sheets printed in Germany. Very good in price-clipped, spine sunned dust jacket, with a couple of small edge chips, and some light edge wear.
