Provenance: inscribed on ffep by Christopher Fry, the English poet and playwright who died in 2005). 8vo (230 x 150 / 9"" x 6""). Lupercal, Ted Hughes's second book, contains many of the unsettling and vivid animal poems for which Hughes is so rightly celebrated, including 'The Bull Moses', 'Hawk Roosting' and 'Pike'. Like his first, dedicated to his wife Sylvia Plath.
