New York: Committee To Free The Trenton Six, 1950. Brochure. Illus. by HAD. Very Good. Soft cover. 1st Edition. 1950's only printing 6 page illustrated in black & white. Printed by the Civil Rights Congress to protest the dead penalty of the six African American accused of murdering second -hand furniture dealer William Horner on January 1948. The trail by an all white jury in Trenton , New Jersey sparked protest all over the nation and got the six a new trail with Thurgood Marshall . With the backing of the NAACP and the Civil Rights Congress A new trail was granted. A very rare and scarce brochure from the time. Condition : Very Good , a staple binding with aging of the paper and some folding , rubber stamped with the protest address and the speaker William L. Patterson Exce. Secy. of the C.R.C. .
