Inscribed copy of the first novel in Vance's Lyonesse Trilogy, frequently acknowledged as one of his finest achievements and a high point in the fantasy genre. First thus; mass-market paperback edition, featuring the same cover illustration by James C. Christensen as the trade paperback true first of 1983. Briefly inscribed by Vance on the title page. Also inscribed on the blurb page at front by "Stephen & Marja Vance," whose relation to the author we have not been able to ascertain. Perfect-bound in printed wraps, 6 7/8 x 4 1/8 in.; xi, 436pp. Creasing to top corner of rear cover. Light edge wear, with rubbing along joints. One creased lear. Else very good, with strong, uncreased spine.

All books ship free with tracking to domestic addresses via USPS Media Mail. In most cases, delivery takes place within a three to ten day window, although the vicissitudes of USPS may apply. Unless otherwise requested, expedited domestic purchases ship via USPS Priority Mail; overseas orders via USPS First Class International. Heavy or oversized books may incur additional shipping charges, as may books shipped to overseas destinations. Any additional charges required will be communicated promptly.
We take safe shipping very seriously; all of our books are packaged in new cardboard boxes amply cushioned with biodegradable packing peanuts. Pamphlets and other flat materials items are ocassionally shipped in bubble-mailers with internal cardboard supports. All books with dust jackets are fitted with brand new archival protectors prior to shipping.
