London, UK: Emmanuel Wax for Pendragon Pres, 1968. Hardcover. Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. 21pp. Quarter bound in green cloth over natural cloth-covered boards, gilt titles on spine. Lightly bumped spine ends. Minor blemish to base of spine strip and boards again where some kind of sticker has been removed. Front pastedown has a couple of blemishes were a sticker has been removed, and rear endpaper also has a blemishes to the page fore edges, a small tippexed area on the copyright page (approx 1 inch) and the remains of some writing that has been erased is just perceptible. Previous owner's bookplate on front free endpaper. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. 8vo. No. 277 of a limited edition of 2000. Laid-in card reads 'From Harold Pinter - 52 Campden Hill Square London W8 7JR'' laid in with the message ''No.18 Dear Peter Cotes Thank you thank you. On we go! yours Harold P.' Facsimile of the Pinter's signature at end of text. Pinter's entertaining short memoir of Irish actor Anew McMaster.
